As we have worked with our art and our designs since 2006 two individual series of paper art have formed: The Asian-Inspired Series and The Animal Series.
The Asian-Inspired Series includes beautiful hand-made pieces fashioned after fans, kimonos and vases. Additionally, there are several unique Origami pieces in the collection.
The Animal Series is comprised of many styles of beautiful, stunning and whimsical butterflies, dragons, dragonflies, fish and hummingbirds.
There are also two individual designs offered which include Kokopelli, from Native American folklore and Christmas Trees.
Working together on new pieces and reinventing the existing ones continues to be a great source of enjoyment for us, especially when we are lucky enough to share it with so many people. We hope you enjoy!
PROCESS AND QUALITY:
With 3Amis Designs we strive to provide the best quality artwork for our customers. To that end we pride ourselves on our design technique and the quality of our work.
In creating our original artwork we have developed and refined a specific and distinctive process for paper folding, creating a new methodology for designing and creating each work.
In each design we utilize different types and varieties of exquisite Asian and other fine decorative papers. For every piece we make, depending on the type or style, e.g. vase, butterfly, dragon, etc., papers are chosen for their specific designs, colors and patterns in order to bring out the individual character, dramatic tone, artistic expression and sometimes whimsy of each piece.
At 3Amis Designs we also take pride in our use of the highest quality archival materials, as well as our matting and framing process, which will ensure years of lasting beauty. All pieces are double or single matted, depending on the size. In addition, if framing is requested, all are available with a high-gloss black, silver or gold metal frames.
